
Palestine: At least 3 journalists injured during 'day of rage' clashes
At least three journalists were wounded at the Nahal Oz border area of Gaza on Friday, a further 300 people were reportedly injured as clashes across Palestinian territories on a so-called 'day of rage.' According to Israeli military, soldiers had fired warning shots in the air before firing at the crowds.
Violence has escalated across the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Israel in recent weeks, with several deaths reported including the shooting of Palestinian protesters by Israeli forces. Since the start of October, at least 52 Palestinians have been killed in shootings and clashes with Israeli forces, while nine Israelis at least have died as a result of attacks.
