Argentina: Opposition leader M. Macri attends final rally before Sunday's election
Mauricio Macri, the presidential candidate for the right-wing Cambiemos party, emphasised that his party is not "anti-anyone" but is instead focused on securing a better future for the Argentinian nation, as he addressed a crowd of supports during his final general election rally in Cordoba, Thursday. "We are going to build the Argentina we dream of," he declared to his supporters.
Macri, who is the current mayor of Buenos Aires, is currently second in the polls behind leftist candidate Daniel Scioli and his incumbent Justicialist Party. Sunday’s election will mark the end of 12-years of Kirchner couple after the late Nestor Kirchner was elected in 2003 and his wife Cristina Fernandez Kirchner took power in 2007.
