Russia: Drone captures mighty Soviet submarine from above
Impressive drone footage captured one of the glories of Soviet engineering at the Tolyatti's Avtovaz Technical Museum, Tuesday, a grounded attack submarine from 1980.
The 2,000 ton, 91 metre-long (299ft) Tango-class diesel-electric attack submarine was previously commissioned to cruise the Black Sea before it was transferred to its resting place in the south-western Russian city.
The submarine is one of the 2,000 exhibits on display at the Avtovaz Technical Museum, along with legendary fighter planes including MiG-29s and Mig-31s, as well as MI-24 helicopters, tanks, missiles and guns.
