China: Drone captures stunning tightrope walk celebrating WWII victory
Tightrope walker Askar Wubulikaisimu celebrated the 70th anniversary of China's victory over Japan in the Second World War, with a tightrope walk across a gorge in the Bai Zhang Pu resort, near Wenzhou, on Saturday. Wubulikaisimu said "this challenge is important to me. This year is China's 70th Anniversary of the victory war against Japan, so I did this to show my love and as a tribute to the country."
Wubulikaisimu is already the holder of several tightrope world records, including the fastest walk across a 100-metre (330-foot) rope, which he set in 2013.
