Syria: Idlib's advanced ISIS training centre "completely destroyed"
The Russian Air Force "completely destroyed" the so-called Islamic State's (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) training centre for foreign fighters in Idlib in strikes over Sunday night through to Monday morning. The centre was incredibly advanced, according to the Defence Ministry, and was discovered of communication interceptions that traced conversations in a range of languages.
The Defence Ministry have revealed that the Air Force carried out 55 sorties in 24 hours, hitting 53 so-called IS targets in the provinces of Idlib, Latakia, Homs and Hama, destroying command posts and training camps, among others targets.
