Bahamian government officials inspected the widespread flooding caused by Hurricane Joaquin with coastguard planes, Sunday.

Hurricane Joaquin led to winds of up to 100mph (160 kmph) ravaging the tiny islands. An intensive search is underway for a US cargo ship with 33 people on board which has not been heard from since the Hurricane swept through the coastal area of the islands.
