Multiple objects were collected by search and rescue teams on Sunday, appearing to be part of the cargo ship El Faro, that disappeared from radar after the eye of Hurricane Joaquin in the Bahamas.

A number of life jackets, life rings and containers that seem to belong to the 33-crew members' container ship were found. The El Faro hit what is estimated to be around 130mph (209 kmph) winds from Hurricane Joaquin.

Two C-130 planes, an MH-60 Jayhawk and the Coast Guard Cutter Northland are taking part in the search.
