
Ukraine: Blast rocks Security Services building in Odessa
A powerful blast shook the center of Odessa after a device exploded near the building of the regional administration of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) early on Sunday morning.
The explosion caused material damages in the buildings located nearby, breaking windows and tearing pieces of the facades, although no casualties have been reported. Members of the scientific police department were deployed at the site in order to collect evidence.
The bomb was activated at 4:41 am local time (01:41 am GMT) at the entrance of a gym located next to the SBU headquarters, in the cross between St. Catherine street and Jewish street. Police have blocked the traffic alongside those to streets. No one has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far.
