
Croatia: Hungary's fence building a 'mistake' - Croatian Interior Minister
Croatian Interior Minister Ranko Ostojic, said that the fences built by Hungary are a "mistake," speaking outside the Opatovac camp on Wednesday. Ostojic also praised the Croatian police for taking measures to "save the lives of children" by setting up the camp.
A few hundred new people arrived at the gates of Opatovac throughout the day entering the camp immediately, unlike on previous days when there was a wait for them to be processed.
A total of approximately 34,900 migrants have entered Croatia, 1,630 of whom have so far found shelter at the Opatovac camp. Officials estimate that a total of 5,000 refugees have headed to Opatovac in search of a roof over their heads. The largest influx of refugees and refugees is expected in the Tovarnik and Ilok areas
