Hungary: Antifa protest Orban's refugee policies in front of Keleti station
Antifa activists protested in front of Keleti train station in Budapest, Saturday, against Prime Minister Viktor Orban's anti-immigrantion policies. They intended to confront a rally in support of Orban, but no incidents were reported at the time of writing due to the right-wing group cancelling their action.
The far-right protesters reportedly considered the problem of refugees solved as Hungary has closed its borders and introduced new strict immigration laws. However, the activists from anfifa still mobilised to show their support to refugees and to the countries in the European Union who support them.
Over 201,000 migrants and refugees have reportedly entered Hungary in 2015, resulting in the government implementing legislation to control the border by arresting anyone crossing it without documentation.
