Italy: Rally in Milan for peace in Donbass region and end to sanctions
A group of protesters rallied for peace in the Donbass region in centre of Milan, Saturday. The group distributed about 600 flyers to bring awareness to the residents of Milan.
An organiser of the rally and member of the Committee for an Antifascist Ukraine (Comitato Ucraina Antifascista) said that although at the moment there is a truce in place and "we are very happy about that, but this is not the end." He continued to say that there was not enough interest for this war, which he thought to be "a tragic mistake."
The group also called on the governments of Europe and the west to work toward peace and "they must eliminate the European sanctions against Russia. That is what we are here for."
