Germany: Is this Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo the ultimate concept car?
Bugatti unveiled its Vision Gran Turismo concept race-car at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 in the German city of Frankfurt on Tuesday, wowing attendees with its dynamic shape and baby-blue hue.
While the car is far from being usable on a common-or-garden motorway, the souped-up model reportedly hints at Bugatti’s future design direction. On a simulated Le Mans track, the Vision Gran Turismo, powered by a W16 engine, can allegedly reach speeds of 250 mph (402 kmph) four times in a lap.
Although the super sleek chrome model may be the future of Bugatti, don’t expect to see the race-car on the street anytime soon, with the president of Bugatti describing the Vision Gran Turismo as being in a class in which vehicles “bear no or little relation to actual cars.”
