Austria: Police prevent refugees reaching platforms at Salzburg train station
Eight hundred refugees tried to board trains bound for Germany, at Salzburg's main train station, Monday, but the police blocked the escalators to the platforms.
Police appeared to let non-refugees through the barricade, while one refugee said through a megaphone that "we are also human beings, so we take the train."
Reportedly, trains to Germany have been working sporadically and with big delays due to the reinstated border controls, in part due to the fact that Austrian train operator OeBB confirmed that Germany has halted trains carrying refugees from heading into the country.
