Germany: Panasonic launches world's first 4G mobile monitoring camera

The world's first 4G monitoring camera, named Nubo, was launched by Panasonic in Berlin on Wednesday. Nubo, equipped with a 4K camera resolution, is unique due to its connectivity which allows for remote use outdoors and indoors.

The presentation of the new device held at the International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA) saw Laurent Abadie, the European chairman and CEO of Panasonic, announce that Panasonic has become the "first major electronics' manufacturer" to launch its "own mobile virtual network".

The Nubo features Full HD 1080p and a wide engle 140° lens, a PIR sensor and cutting-edge cloud human connection with infrared true day/night (olux) technology.
