Yemen: At least 36 dead as Saudi warplanes strike bottling plant
At least 36 people, reportedly civilians, died after Saudi warplanes struck a bottling plant in the northern province of Hajjah. Footage shows planes flying overhead and the aftermath of the explosions.
According to United Nations (UN) figures, over 1,900 civilians have died, 7,870 people have been injured and more than 100,000 have been displaced, since the Saudi-led coalition launched its military campaign in March 2015. The UN has categorised the situation in Yemen as a level-three humanitarian emergency, since 21 million people are currently in need of assistance, 13 million of whom require food supplies.
