      Belgium: EC's Juncker receives Poroshenko in Brussels

      President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker received Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Brussels, Thursday.

      Juncker and Poroshenko are set to hold a joint press conference following their meeting later on Thursday. The Ukrainian president is also is due to attend a European Council session where he will meet the council's President Donald Tusk.

      The talks are expected to focus on renewed hostilities in eastern Ukraine, issues concerning a visa-free regime between the European Union (EU) and Ukraine, as well as security coordination.
