
Italy: Navy bring 506 refugees and migrants from the Med into Trapani
A group of 506 refugees and migrants - 249 men, 237 women and 20 children - arrived at Trapani on the west coast of Sicily, Sunday.
The group arrived on Italian Navy vessel Fiorillo around 17:00 local time (15:00 GMT).
The 506 refugees belong to a group of about 3,000 people that were picked up during 23 different border operations from the Mediterranean Sea while attempting to flee to Europe.
