USA: Luxury oldtimers costing up to $12 million to be sold at Bonhams

Around 111 luxurious oldtimers costing up to $12 million (€10.8 million) were on display at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel Valley, California, ahead of an auction organised by Bonhams, Wednesday.

Among the most exclusive sports cars are a 1959 Ferrari 250GT Comp Alloy Berlinetta ($9 million - $12 million; €8 million - €10.8 million), a 1951 Ferrari 212 Inter Cabriolet ($2.4 million - $2.8 million; €2.1 million - €2.5 million) and a 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 ($850,000 - $1 million; €762,000 - €896,000).

Apart from sports cars from the 40s, 50s and 60s, the auction also presents a 1904 Knox 16/18HP Tourer, bringing the estimated total worth up to $60 million (€53.8 million). The cars will be sold on Friday 14th during the Monterey Car Week Convention.
