
Russia: 16 dead and over 60 injured in bus collision
At least 16 people were killed and 65 injured when two buses crashed, near Lake Gassi, on the Komsomolsk-on-Amur motorway, Wednesday morning.
According to prosecutors’ reports, the driver of the bus on 301 route lost control of the vehicle when trying to bypass construction equipment, colliding with the approaching bus number 304. A child was among those killed and three more children are currently in critical condition.
Two EMERCOM helicopters are used to evacuate the injured and around 195 workers and 43 units are currently working on removing the debris of the crash.
