Germany: Pro-Kurdish activists march in support of Suruc victims, condemn Turkey
Hundreds of pro-Kurdish protesters rallied through Berlin's Wedding district, Saturday, demonstrating in support of the victims of the Suruc massacre.
The protesters accused Turkey of collaborating with the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) and demanded a release of Abdullah Ocalan, a founding member of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and a lift of the ban of the organisation, which is listed as a terror organisation in Germany.
A huge police presence was deployed to prevent clashes.
