      UK: Protesters rally against political repression outside Ukrainian embassy

      Protesters from several British communists organisations and trade unions rallied outside the Ukrainian embassy in London, Saturday, against the decision of the Ukrainian parliament to outlaw all communists parties in Ukraine.

      The activists waved communist flags and held banners supporting the communist and anti-fascist movements. A number of groups participated in the rally including 'RMT Union' and 'Solidarity with the Antifascist Resistance in Ukraine (SARU).

      On Friday, Ukrainian Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko signed a decree, adopted by the Ukrainian parliament, banning all communist parties from participating in elections in the country.
