
Russia: See Russian national helicopter team perform mind-blowing stunts!
The Russian national team of helicopter sports won the chance to compete in the Helicopter World Championship after winning the Open Championship of Russia on Sunday in the region of Tverskaya.
Alexander Udahin, the director of Russia’s Helicopter Sport Federation, said that the competitions tasks were “really hard to do.” Sunday’s competition was between the teams from Russia, Austria, Germany, Belarus, Poland and Ukraine.
Participants competed in the art of controlling the helicopter by lowering a bucket full of water onto a small table whilst in transit. Pilots and crews also performed stunts and difficult manoeuvres in the Russian designed and produced Mil Mi-2 as well as the American produced Robinson-44.
