Several hundred football fans tried to break through police barriers on Sunday in order to buy tickets for the 2015 UEFA Super Cup at Vake Park in Tbilisi. With the match scheduled for August 11, police struggled to contain the fans and usedmetal barriers to keep them at bay. At least one fan required medical assistant due to the pushing.
Many people queued up overnight for the chance to watch Champions League winners Barcelona take on UEFA Cup winners Sevilla. There are 22,000 tickets on sale, which range in price from €7.15 to €35 ($7.98 and $39).
