Greece: Varoufakis mobbed by journalists while leaving Finance Ministry
Scores of journalists swarmed around Yanis Varoufakis in Athens, Monday, as he left his office following his resignation as Greece's finance minister earlier in the morning.
While Varoufakis was trying to leave the Finance Ministry, reporters jockeyed for his attention with some of them even pushing over a parked motorbike.
On Sunday, 61.3 percent of registered voters opted for 'No' on the bailout terms proposed by foreign creditors compared to the 38.7 percent who voted 'Yes.' Varoufakis resigned subsequently, announcing on his personal blog that he was "made aware" of the "preference by some Eurogroup participants" for his "absence" at future meetings, before concluding that he "shall wear the creditors' loathing with pride."
