
USA: Storms rip through Iowa as tornado season hits the Midwest
Footage captured on Tuesday, showed the aftermath of storms that ripped through Maynard, Iowa on Monday. Winds of up to 90 mph (144.80 kmph) caused severe damage to property, destroying homes and farm buildings.
Heavy rains accompanied the storm, with various Iowa counties issuing flood warnings. A tornado was also reported in Marion County with more expected to follow. The adverse weather is due to last until Wednesday.
