Hungary: This is where Orban's 13-foot anti-migration fence will be built
Preparations to build a fence on the Hungarian-Serbian border were underway near the village of Roszke, Sunday. Fresh tracks of grass, likely from construction vehicles, were visible on fields near the small border town.
The preparations come following an announcement made by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in early in June that Hungary would close its border with Serbia, in order to prevent migrants from crossing into the EU. The fence will reportedly be four metres (13-foot) high.
Since the beginning of this year, over 50,000 undocumented migrants have reportedly crossed the border into Hungary, most of them reportedly starting their journey from Syria.
