
UK: Stowaway falls to death in London from undercarraige of Boeing 747
A man fell to his death from the undercarriage of a Boeing 747 and landed on the busy south-west London street, Kew Road, on Thursday morning. The man, estimated to be in his mid-to-late twenties, is believed to have climbed into the plane at Johannesburg, South Africa, and survived the journey before falling as the plane was coming in to land.
The flight was flying around 1,400 feet (427 metres) at the time.
A companion to the traveller survived the journey but is in a serious condition in hospital.
