The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development held a rally on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, to promote economic development among Native Americans and demonstrate for tribal sovereignty.

Dozens of Native Americans from different tribes rallied under the slogan 'New Day Now', as part of the Annual Reservation Economic Summit, which is taking now place in the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington D.C.

After the event, several participants performed traditional dances as the crowd proceeded to the Hart Senate Office building where they were scheduled to hold meetings with members of the Congress.
