A group of foreign students gathered together at the Kharkov's Constitution Square, Monday, to demand justice for the attack on Jordan students on June 12.

Protesters could be seen holding Jordanian, Iraqi and Ukrainian flags - as well as banners with slogans such as "No to racism and nationalism" and "Protect foreign students" on them. They urged the governor of Kharkov to find the attackers and to put student dormitories under protection.

On the night of June 11 to June 12, dozens of unknown men wearing masks and armed with knives attacked students near their dormitories in Kharkov. Nine students - five Ukrainian and four Jordanian - were injured and taken to the hospital.
