USA: Coastguard rescue 4 fishermen from sinking boat in icy Alaskan waters
Several fishermen were rescued off the shore of Alaska after their boat began to sink on Wednesday, with the U.S. Coast Guard releasing footage of the impressive emergency rescue mission on Thursday.
The four men aboard the vessel sent out an SOS signal when the vessel began to take on large amounts of water, forcing them to abandon the ship for a life raft.
Coastguard officials lifted the fishermen from the water to a Air Station Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter using a basket. There were no reports of injuries.
