      Russia: XIII Vienna Ball dazzles Moscow

      Over 1000 participants danced the night away at the XIII Vienna Ball held at the 'Gostiny Dvor' in Moscow, Saturday. With a range of ballroom styles on show, the dances - some of them featuring dozens of participants, others hundreds - were backed by a number of live bands including the 84-person Russian Philarmonic Orchestra.

      Supported by the Austrian and Russian governments, the Vienna Ball is held annually and is the largest event of its kind in Russia. As a charity event, all money is directed to a range of organisations including those in support of child welfare and rights.
