Ukraine: 'Over 90 people injured in Donetsk shelling'- DPR's Basurin
Eduard Basurin, the Deputy Defence Minister for the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, accused Kiev of bombing civilian areas, in a press conference in Donetsk on Wednesday. The attacks occurred despite the implementation of the February 11 Minsk Agreement.
Basurin stated that in Donetsk alone over 90 people were injured, although that number is not yet final according to the minister. Basurin was referencing a shelling earlier on Wednesday, wherein which four people were reported to have been killed when a market in Donetsk's Kirovsky district was struck. The shelling subsequently caused a blaze which devastated two nearby homes.
Further attacks were reported at the Skochinsky coal mine, where 379 miners were trapped underground after artillery strikes caused a power outage.
