
Russia: Putin greets newly-appointed foreign ambassadors
Russian President Vladimir Putin received the credentials from 13 newly-appointed foreign ambassadors in Moscow on Thursday.
The ceremony was held in the Saint Alexander Hall in the Kremlin and was followed by a short address by the president. Putin said he hoped their work would "advance political dialogue, (and) increase the level of investment, trade and economic relations."
Among those newly welcomed to Russia were the ambassadors of Albania, Lithuania, Macedonia, Monaco, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovakia, the Philippines, Ecuador, Ethiopia, South Africa and South Sudan.
