      UK: Scuffles erupt after anti-austerity activists block apartment eviction

      Clashes broke out after student protesters attempted to stop an eviction from an apartment by blocking police during a demonstration against government cuts in London on Wednesday, according to reports.

      The protesters originally assembled on Malet Street with plans to end their march at Parliament Square. The march coincides with the state opening of the new parliament where the Conservatives will officially form a new government.
