Eyewitnesses claim lightning from a powerful thunderstorm triggered a large fire at a filling station in Moscow, Friday.
As the Russian capital was experiencing a deluge, locals say they heard a blast as lightning appeared to hit the station. Shortly after the blaze started.
The witnesses also say that the sound of the explosion was heard at a distance and a column of black smoke was seen at several kilometres. The total area of the fire was 150 square meters (1,614 sq ft).
