
USA: One Marine dead, 21 injured in Hawaii MV-22 Osprey crash
Twenty one Marines were hospitalized and one killed on Sunday after an MV-22 Osprey from the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit crash-landed in Waimanalo at around 11am. Honolulu fire crews were called to the scene.
Thick black smoke could be seen in the distance rising from an area called Bellows, primarily used as a training area for Marines. It is unclear as to whether the crash was directly related to the training.
