
Bulgaria: Sofia march honours Soviet WWII Victory
Hundreds of people walked through the streets of Sofia before gathering at the Monument of the Soviet Army to honour the 70th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany, Saturday.
Many attendees carried Russian and Bulgarian flags, with flags of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic also seen. Members of the march laid wreaths at the Monument of the Soviet Army ahead of a concert to mark Victory Day.
