Around 4 protesters were arrested at Penn North station in Baltimore on Saturday, shortly after the city's 22.00 curfew came into effect.

Earlier in the day, thousands poured onto the streets to protest against police brutality, a day after it was announced that six police officers were charged in relation to Freddie Gray's death.

Maryland State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced on Friday that six officers involved in Gray's case were suspended and arrested on charges ranging from second-degree murder to assault.

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan declared a state-of-emergency in Baltimore earlier in the week following clashes between protesters and police. Some 5,000 National Guard troops were deployed and a city-wide curfew has since been issued, remaining in effect until May 5th.
