USA: Protests sweep Baltimore for fourth day running
Protests continued to sweep Baltimore for the fourth day running on Thursday, with demonstrators marching to the City Hall, calling for justice over the death of Freddie Gray.
Families and children were among those on the march, which headed towards the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and West North Avenue. Protesters chanted "I love Baltimore, we want peace", and "All night, all day, we fight for Freddie Gray."
Violence broke out on Monday April 27, just hours after the funeral of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, who died in police custody on April 19, 2015. Gray's family say he suffered a severe spinal injury, that his voice box was crushed and his neck was snapped before he went into a coma and died. Police reports indicate that these injuries were sustained after his arrest.
