
State of Palestine: Hamas hold heavily armed military rally through streets of Gaza
Members of the Palestinian political group Hamas, and their military wing the al-Qassam Brigades, took part in a heavily armed military rally through the streets of Gaza, Thursday, to show their solidarity with Palestinians who had been detained by Israeli security forces. A number of influential politicians attended the march including Hamas MP Mushir al-Masri.
The Hamas fighters carried a variety of weapons including RPGs, heavy machine guns, handguns and a range of Kalashnikovs. A number of vehicles were also mounted with heavy weaponry. The fighters carried Hamas flags and posters of Palestinians who are currently in Israeli detention centres.
