
Russia: Kirchner lays wreath at Moscow's 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier'
President of Argentina Cristina Kirchner laid a wreath at the 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier' in Moscow, Thursday.
Kirchner attended the ceremony at the monument before meeting President of Russia Vladimir Putin. It is expected that Kirchner and Putin will discuss a series of deals concerning trade, military and energy projects.
Kirchner stated the importance of strategic relations with Russia during a speech at the 'Argentina and Russia Entrepreneurs Forum' in Moscow on Wednesday. The Argentinian leader also signed a deal on the same day which will see Russian nuclear fuel company Rosatom TVEL supply low-enriched nuclear fuel and components to Argentine research and power-generating reactors.
