USA: Freddie Gray protesters flood Baltimore, demand punishment of cops

Hundreds of protesters marched in Baltimore on Wednesday, demanding justice for 25 year-old Freddie Gray, who died in police custody on April 19.

Crowds gathered in front of the Western District police station and called for the punishment of the officers involved in the incident, which saw Gray suffer a severed spine while being transported in a police vehicle before dying from his injuries.

The Baltimore Police Department have identified six officers involved in Gray’s arrest as Lt. Brian Rice, , Officer Caesar Goodson, Sergeant Alicia White, Officer William Porter, Officer Garrett Miller, and Officer Edward Nero.
