
China: Nissan introduces the Lannia, a car made for the app generation
Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan unveiled their new Lannia at the 16th International Automobile and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2015), hosted at the China Expo Complex in Shanghai, Tuesday.
Designed and developed locally by Nissan Design China, the car was produced specifically for the young Chinese generations and is not likely to ever be exported beyond the Chinese market. The new Lannia features Nissan's latest design cues, such as the V-motion grille, kick-up C-pillar, floating roof and boomerang-shaped headlights. On the technology front, the sedan offers a 7-inch infotainment screen on centre console with an advanced music system, with smartphone connectivity.
Auto Shanghai is one of the worlds leading trade fairs for automobiles. Taking place every two years since 1985, the show features thousands of exhibitions from national and international manufacturers. It will run until April 29.
