Russia: Memorial held for murdered Kiev critics Oles Buzina and Oleg Kalashnikov
Mourners gathered outside the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow, Friday, to pay their respects to Oles Buzina and Oleg Kalashnikov who were both killed in Kiev earlier in the week.
Writer and journalist Oles Buzina was assassinated near his home on Thursday and Oleg Kalashnikov, a former MP and anti-Maidan activist, was killed in his flat on Wednesday. Both men were highly critical of President Petro Poroshenko's government and many believe their deaths were politically motivated. Mourners at the commemoration ceremony placed flowers and candles, while some activists brought placards and flags.
Police are currently investigating both deaths.
