
USA: Anti-police brutality protesters shutdown LA, 15 arrested
Around 200 protesters rallied in front of the Los Angeles Police Department Headquarters on Tuesday to demonstrate against recent incidents of police violence against African Americans.
The protesters went on to march towards skidrow, shutting down parts of downtown L.A on their way, including Main street and East Washington Boulevard. After blocking the Metro Blue Line by standing at the intersection, 15 protesters were arrested by police.
The demonstration was organized by members of the Stop Mass Incarceration Network.
