Panama: 'Obama is not George W. Bush,' contradictory to say he is – Maduro

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that "President Obama is not George W. Bush" and that it would be a contradiction as well as being unusual and extraordinary to say he is, at the Summit of the Americas in Panama City, Saturday. Maduro added that to say that Obama was Bush would be a greater "disparity than the decree signed and validated in the United States saying that Venezuela is a threat."

This year's primary theme at the summit is "Prosperity with Equity: The Challenge of Cooperation in the Americas," according to the website. Barack Obama sat down with his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro on the side-lines of the summit, Saturday, in the first meaningful talks between the leaders of Cuba and the US in over half a century.
