
Armenia: Kim Kardashian arrives in Armenia to celebrate her roots
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, her husband Kanye West, their daughter North West and her sister Khloe, arrived in Yerevan on Wednesday on Kim's first trip to honour her Armenian heritage. As the Kardashians made their way through Zvartnots International Airport, they were greeted by a large crowd of journalists and a cheering crowd.
The Kardashians are set to visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, also known as Tsitsernakaberd, ahead of the 100th anniversary of the 1915 mass killings of Armenians by Ottoman Turks on April 24.
The Kardashian's visit was organised by travel company SIMA Tours USA and the Armenia Development Fund, with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
