Russia: Police discover disturbing 'home morgue,' arrest suspects *GRAPHIC*
Police officers discovered a makeshift morgue when they searched a residential building after a tip-off from the neighbours in the Izhevsk Region, Monday.
Masquerading as a funeral service, it appears that the occupants wanted to store, embalm and autopsy dead bodies. Officers called on an address after neighbours reported suspicious activity near the building, such as people seemingly dropping off dead bodies. The police were surprised to not only encounter coffins and other funeral equipment, but also three dead bodies in the house. Apparently the owner of the home, identified as Anna Barsukova, had not been storing them in refrigerators.
According to the police, those who worked at the 'funeral home' did not just prepare the corpses for funerals, but autopsied and embalmed them as well.
