
Russia: Brutal clashes erupt between Tula and Torpedo footy fans
Riots broke out between football fans watching Arsenal Tula play a home game against arch rivals Torpedo Moscow on Sunday.
Fans of the two teams reportedly began hurling insults at eachother across the pitch, but tensions soon escalated after Torpedo fans tore down security barriers and began running towards the home side, interrupting the game 33 minutes in.
The game was put to a halt for five minutes as clashes erupted between both sides, fans were seen punching and kicking eachother to the ground and throwing debris around the stadium. After riot police separated the fans, the match resumed, ending 3-1 to Torpedo Moscow.
