      Switzerland: Iran nuclear talks resume as deadline for deal looms

      Global powers gathered at the Beau-Rivage Palace hotel in Lausanne to continue the negotiations regarding Tehran's nuclear programme, Monday morning.

      The talks, led by US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, aim at reaching an agreement by the preliminary deadline of Tuesday March 31, after nearly two years of negotiations.

      Top diplomats from the UK, China, Germany, France and Russia have joined the talks with the US and Iran in Lausanne that began on Thursday. The deadline for a final agreement is June 30.
